Adding value

Supply chain

Services

We operate across the full breadth of the supply chain – from grower to customer – in an industry that has a significant impact on the environment.

With this comes responsibility and we work to ensure that we protect our environment, taking a sustainable approach to business to help our customers to gain profit while safeguarding our planet for generations to come.

Quality

The safety and quality of our product is a paramount concern to us, and therefore quality is integrated into our ethos.

Our customers can trust that all our products meet the feed safety requirements as well as relevant safety scheme accreditations.

We operate a risk based approach to feed safety at each stage of the supply chain, working with suppliers to control risk and implement management programmes. This work is then validated through risk assessment and analysis of products to ensure the goods customers receive are safe to enter the feed chain.

Risk Management

We deliver bespoke management solutions to reduce and control risk for our clients. Catered to each of our clients’ needs, we will help to protect you from market volatility to help safeguard your capital.

Our innovative price risk exposure tools, combined with our in-house expertise, offer you security every step of the way.

Sustainability

Commitment to sustainable business practices is at the heart of our core values at Cefetra, we provide a sustainable supply chain and guarantee smooth and efficient business deals for all of our customers.

Continued investment in sustainability schemes and certifications, such as the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), helps us to trade responsibly today while safeguarding production for the future.

The Cefetra Responsible Soy Initiative and Cefetra Responsible Soy Standard (CRS) demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. Our membership of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil and Round Table of Responsible Soy display our aim to only trade sustainably produced and sourced products.

Our customers can put their mind at ease knowing that their products have been responsibly obtained and sustainably produced through a transparent and traceable supply chain.

Fair Trading

We are committed to taking a modern and ethical approach to business and trading, and are a certified member of Sedex – a non-profit organisation aiming to improve ethical and responsible practices in global supply chains.
Through our membership, we have undergone a Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) to ensure our ethical trading is in line with current standards and our Code of Practice now provides protection for:
• Freely chosen employment
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining being respected
• Safe and hygienic working conditions
• Prohibition of child labour
• Payment of living wages
• Working hours that are not excessive
• Freedom from discrimination
• The right to regular employment
• Condemning of harsh or inhumane treatment
Our policies ensure that we fulfil our aim of being an ethically run business and we work to extend this ethos to all of our business partners and suppliers.
